I grew up in CT, graduating from Terryville High School in 1995.  After that, I moved to Providence, RI where I earned Associates Degrees in both Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University.  For more on that, see the section "We Make Your Food" (unless you are easily offended).  I have worked in some fine (and some not so fine) establishments all around the Providence area.

While working as Sous Chef at Tortilla Flats on the east side, (one of the fine establishments) I was introduced by a bartender to the woman who would later become my wife!  We bought a house in Riverside, got married and started a family.  Our two sons were born in 2004 and 2007.  Red Sox fans can thank me, I take full credit.

I currently work as an overnight baker for a large bakery cafe chain franchise, since 2015.  It is a lot of work, a lot of hours, and I don't get enough sleep-but I work mostly alone and so far so good enjoy it.

In December of 2016, my wife, my older son and I attended a wizard themed (Harry Potter-esque) craft fair.  There was a chain maille artist there selling beautiful jewelry and women's clothing made of chain and scale.  I took one look and said "I just found my new hobby."  By January 2017, I bought:  2 pairs of pliers, 2 "how to" books, and a 1 lb bag of rings.  Since then, nearly all of my spare time has been sitting at the dining room table putting rings together.
